The University of Gwadar achieved remarkable success at the Mir Kalmati Inter-Educational Institutes Sports Festival 2025, held at GDA Public Higher Secondary School. The week-long festival brought together teams from various institutions, showcasing talent, discipline, and sportsmanship across multiple events. The highlight of the tournament was the Futsal Final, where the University of Gwadar delivered an exceptional performance, defeating Government Jadeed High School with a convincing 5–1victory to claim the Futsal Championship title. The team demonstrated outstanding strategy, strong coordination, and exemplary teamwork throughout the match. Along with the futsal triumph, the UG Futsal Team also lifted the Badminton and Futsal winning trophies, adding to the University’s sporting glory. Special accolades were awarded to Zareen, who was named *Best Goalkeeper*, and Jeehand, who secured the title of Best Goal Scorer. The trophies were presented to the UG captain by the honorable Chief Guest. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir congratulated all players for their exceptional performance, stating that the students have brought pride to the University through their discipline, skills, and dedication. Director of Sports Sagheer Naseem also praised the teams for their professional conduct and competitive spirit.
