The member of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, visited the University of Gwadar, where he met Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir in his chamber. The meeting focused on the university’s academic and administrative affairs, ongoing development projects, and future requirements. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, Registrar Dr. Dolat Khan, Director Finance Rehmatullah, Principal Government Degree College Gwadar Naseer Ahmed, and other senior administrative officers of the university were also present on the occasion. During the meeting, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman appreciated the efforts of the University of Gwadar to promote higher education in the region and provide quality educational opportunities to young people. He said that under the active, effective, and visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and his team, the University of Gwadar is rapidly moving toward development and success within a short period. He said that the conducive academic environment established at the university represents an important opportunity for the youth of Gwadar and Makran, enabling them to access quality higher education at their doorstep. He expressed hope that young people would make full use of these opportunities, further enhance their academic and professional capabilities, and play an effective role in the development of the region. Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman assured that he would continue to extend all possible support, both through the platform of the Balochistan Assembly and in his personal capacity, for the development and expansion of the University of Gwadar and for resolving the issues it faces. He emphasized that establishing a strong and quality higher education institution in Gwadar is essential not only for the local youth but also for securing a brighter future for the entire region. On the occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Manzoor Ahmed appreciated Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman’s support for the development and expansion of the University of Gwadar. They said that Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman visits the university from time to time to remain informed about its issues and requirements and provides practical support to the best of his ability for their resolution.
