University of Gwadar Leadership Meets Pakistan Academy of Letters to تعزيز Academic and Literary Collaboration

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, and the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof Syed Manzoor Ahmed, met with the Chairperson of the Pakistan Academy of Letters, Professor Dr. Najeeba Arif, at her office. The meeting focused particularly on promoting academic and literary collaboration.
On this occasion, Engineer Abdul Basit from the University of Gwadar was also present. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on strengthening mutual relations between the two institutions, organizing joint academic and literary conferences, promoting research activities, and exchanging books.
Both sides expressed their commitment that these initiatives would not only enhance the academic landscape but also provide new momentum to literary activities in the country. The importance of ancient manuscripts was also thoroughly discussed, with particular emphasis on the preservation, research, and publication of Persian and Balochi manuscripts. It was stressed that these manuscripts are a valuable part of our cultural heritage and that their preservation and promotion are of utmost importance.
Later, the distinguished delegation visited the literary and linguistic museum of Pakistani languages established at the Academy, where they showed keen interest in the rare linguistic and literary collections. They appreciated the Academy’s efforts, stating that such initiatives are highly important and commendable for preserving and promoting all Pakistani languages, including those that are endangered.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining continuous engagement, joint planning, and enhanced practical cooperation in the future to ensure sustainable progress in the academic and literary fields.
