University of Gwadar Female Futsal Team Secures Runner-Up Position at Mir Kalmati Educational Institute Sports Festival 2026. GWADAR.

The Female Futsal Team of the University of Gwadar secured the Runner-Up position at the Mir Kalmati Educational Institute Sports Festival 2026, delivering a commendable performance throughout the competition. The University team defeated Degree College 1–0 in the opening match, with Kainat Shahid Raza scoring the winning goal. In the semi-final, the team defeated Government Girls School Mulla Band 2–0, with Shereen Abdul Wahab scoring both goals. In the final, the team finished runners-up after a 4–1 defeat against Darul Uloom, with Shereen Abdul Wahab scoring the University’s only goal. Fiza Muhammad Ayab was awarded Best Goalkeeper, while the University team received the Runner-Up Cup and Emerging Team (Futsal) Shield. The team participated under the guidance of Director Sports Mr Muthasem, along with Madam Farah Faisal and Madam Hunaiza Ghulab. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, and Registrar Dr. Dolat Khan congratulated the players and organizers on their achievement and appreciated their dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship. The university leadership expressed hope for the team’s continued success and greater achievements in future sporting events.
