The University of Gwadar organized a graceful orientation session for newly enrolled students at the Mir Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri Auditorium of the Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute (PCTVI). The session was presided over by Pro Vice Chancellor UG, Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, who congratulated the students on their admission and said, “You are among the fortunate ones beginning the journey of higher education. These four years are not just about earning a degree but about transforming yourself into a skilled and responsible individual.” He emphasized that the Gwadar University is committed to providing quality education and ensuring the holistic development of its students. “Quality education not only shapes an individual’s future but also contributes to the progress of society and the nation,” he added. On the occasion, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, delivered a detailed introductory presentation highlighting the university’s academic system, examination structure, scholarship opportunities, and student facilities. Meanwhile, Dean, Faculty of Science, Dr. Mohib Ullah, encouraged the students to embrace knowledge, research, and critical thinking as essential tools for academic and personal growth. The Controller of Examination attended the event, UG Prof Dr Rahim Mehr, Director of ORIC, Dr Muhammad Irshad, faculty members, students, parents, and administrative officers. At the end, the Director of Student Affairs, Mr. Farooq Haider, performed the duties of stage secretary and extended his gratitude to all speakers and participants.
