During a seminar held at Gwadar Port the other day, the Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, held a special interaction with students of the University of Gwadar and encouraged them. On this occasion, the Minister particularly appreciated the exceptional performance of University of Gwadar student Badria Rafiq, who recently secured **first position** among universities across Pakistan in the English Speech category of the Uraan Pakistan National Debates Competition, and earned the title of Best Speaker (Debates), bringing distinction to herself and the University of Gwadar. While addressing the students, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the importance of education and hard work in achieving success and stated: “Education has the power to transform lives. This university represents your golden opportunity to move forward. No matter how difficult the journey may be, your hard work will lead you ahead. Continue striving; the future of Gwadar lies in your hands.” The event was attended by Provincial Ministers Mir Zahoor Buledi and Ms. Meena Majeed, along with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, and faculty members. The interaction proved to be a memorable moment for the students of the University of Gwadar, while Badria Rafiq’s achievement set an inspiring example for other students.
