Comprehensive Program Held on Protection, Development and Character Building of the Young Generation in the Light of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ

Gwadar: The University of Gwadar organized a one-day comprehensive program titled “Protection, Development and Character Building of the Young Generation in the Light of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ” in connection with Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ. The program was presided over by Member of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly and MPA Gwadar, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman.
The program was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Gwadar, Dr. Manzoor Ahmed; Controller of Examinations, Dr. Raheem Mehr; Director Finance, Rahmatullah; Director, Quality Enhancement Cell, and Chairperson, Dr. Rabia Aslam; faculty members; administrative officers; students; and journalists affiliated with the Gwadar Press Club.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ, followed by the presentation of a Qaseeda by the participants. Various aspects of the Seerat-e-Tayyaba ﷺ were discussed during the program, particularly the role of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ in character building, moral training, and constructive development of the younger generation and society.
Addressing the gathering, MPA Gwadar Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, Controller of Examinations Dr. Raheem Mehr, and religious scholar Aslam Tagarani highlighted the importance of following the teachings and noble example of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The speakers said that **Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ provides a complete code of life for humanity, and that seeking guidance from the Uswa-e-Hasana ﷺ is essential for the intellectual, moral, and practical development of the younger generation.
They emphasized that the intellectual, moral, and social challenges faced by young people in the contemporary era can only be effectively addressed by incorporating the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ into everyday life.
The speakers urged the youth to follow the principles reflected in the blessed life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, particularly noble character, patience, justice, brotherhood, tolerance, and service to humanity, so that a responsible, morally upright, and progressive society can be built.
Meanwhile, a special **calligraphy exhibition** was organized at the Main Library of the University of Gwadar, featuring artwork created by students as an expression of their love and devotion to Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ. The distinguished guests and participants visited the library, viewed the students’ creative and artistic work, and appreciated their efforts.
The guests commended the students’ creativity and emphasized that providing opportunities for students to develop their academic, creative, and artistic abilities is an important component of a vibrant educational environment.
Director Finance Rahmatullah skillfully moderated the program. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all the guests, participants, and organizers for their presence and support.
