The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at the University of Gwadar organized a Scholarship Award Letter Distribution Ceremony in the University Seminar Hall, Block-I. During the event, award letters were distributed among 39 deserving students selected under the second phase of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China Scholarship Program. The award letters were jointly presented by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Syed Manzoor Ahmed, reflecting the university’s commitment to academic excellence and student support. This prestigious scholarship covers the full tuition fee for a four-year degree program, enabling talented students to pursue higher education without financial constraints. Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir congratulated the students on their achievement and encouraged them to make the most of this opportunity by embracing hard work, discipline, and academic excellence. He emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in removing financial barriers and nurturing future leaders who will contribute significantly to the development of Gwadar, Balochistan, and Pakistan. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China for its continued support in promoting education in the region, stating that this initiative reflects the enduring partnership and deep friendship between Pakistan and China. Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Syed Manzoor Ahmed also addressed the participants and thanked Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong for his continued support toward educational development. He noted that the University highly values these efforts and expressed hope that this collaboration, guidance, and financial assistance would continue in the future, creating greater opportunities for students—particularly those from Gwadar and Balochistan—to access quality education and contribute effectively to national development. The ceremony was attended by Registrar Dr. Daulat Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Professor Dr. Jan Muhammad, Director ORIC Dr. Muhammad Irshad, faculty members, administrative staff, and students. The event marked another important step toward promoting quality and accessible higher education at the University of Gwadar.
